Challenge
Provide legal support in a dispute with a property management and maintenance company
The customer contacted us for help in the fight against the management company, which ignored the requirements for communal property maintenance
Effort
- organized tenant and homeowner meeting;
- submitted a class action claim to the district court
- filed complaints with the Public Prosecutor’s Office and to the Housing Supervision Authority
Outcome
As part of the settlement, the management company had agreed to repair the elevator, obligated its sub-contractor to paint the walls of the communal property, performed landscaping, conducted disinfestation of the garbage chute, installed new garbage cans, and vacated common storage area.
